Method
To prepare the Syrup: Put the listed components in a pan, bring to a gentle boil, stirring so the sugar melts. Next, remove from the stove and leave to cool down entirely. Decant into a sterilised bottle, seal and store in the refrigerator, where it will keep for up to one month.
To make Batch Mix: Mix the specified spirits and syrup in a big jug, allow it to infuse for an hour, then strain preferably using a fine cloth, making it completely strained.
For serving: Add 85ml of the cocktail base to a cocktail shaker packed with ice, and stir gently for about 60 seconds to chill. Pour into a cold coupe glass or equivalent, garnish with some cranberries and complete it with a brief mist of the essential oil above the glass.
